What
is it? A fundraising event sponsored by Old National Bank. Every two years,
they select a new benefitting charity. LTHC was selected for 2019 and 2020.
When
is it? Saturday, October 19 in the evening.
Where
is it? Legacy Courts
What
happens at the event? How is it a fundraiser?
- Businesses can sponsor the
event
- Goal is to sell 750 tickets/tables
- LTHC will have the chance to speak
about our mission
- “100” chefs will agree to cook
a bite of food for guests – they try to raise money before and during the event
- There are some prizes given out
to chefs
- There will be a small (10-12
item) live auction during the event
- There will be a 50/50 and
heads/tails
Where
are there volunteer opportunities?
- Decorating – committee to plan, make them, set them up
- Selling tables/tickets
- Soliciting auction donations
- Computer-smart person
- Finding chefs
- Organizing supplies
- Supporting chefs to raise money
- Day of – setting up and tearing down
- Day of – corralling chefs
- Event help – DJ, registration, coat check, parking, iPads, miscellaneous
