The holidays were long and sometimes chaotic around here, but with some help from friends, we were able to provide just about everyone in our system with a little something special. Veterans and their families got meals. Children and their parents were gifted with some pretty special treats. Coats, hats, gloves, boots and scarves were all handed out, and most of all, there was a beautiful sense of community. People showed up out of the woodwork to volunteer their time, to serve meals on Christmas Day, to bring treats to our staff, and to help ensure no one was forgotten.
