Request for Qualifications - Construction Manager
The Lafayette Transitional Housing Center (LTHC) is requesting qualifications from interested parties for the role of Construction Manager. As part of the 2025 Community Development Block Grant program, issued by the City of Lafayette, LTHC was awarded two grants for construction projects at our facilities. The following is a listing of the projects:
- To replace roof and repair masonry due to water damage at 312 N. 8th
- To install garbage receptacles and security camera upgrades at 312 N. 8th Street, 815 N. 12th Street, and 814 N. 14th
The Construction Manager would be an independent contractor, working with the Facilities Director of LTHC. Responsibilities will include: meeting with LTHC staff, meeting with city inspectors and CDBG compliance consultants, taking before and after pictures of the work, writing specifications for work, managing the bidding process as well as the entire construction process. Documentation of the above tasks must be provided to LTHC upon completion of the individual projects.
The contractor must be in compliance with federal, state and city regulations and provide documentation of such compliance. Knowledge of federal procurement is required. Previous knowledge of CDBG regulations, including Section 3, Davis-Bacon, and NEPA is desired.
