Faces of Homelessness Four days old. FOUR. DAYS. OLD. Her name is Rosemary and she is in our waiting room with her mom because they have no place to go. Mom was staying with friends and they won't let her return with the baby. There are no shelter openings. There are no hotel rooms in Lafayette this weekend. I cannot even imagine the fear that is running through this new mom's head. How she is even keeping it together to feed and comfort little Rosemary is a heroic achievement.
