People showing up for other people...that's what it's all about.
Sophie, from Dr Schroeder’s office did eye health exams on guests. They distributed reading glasses and will follow up with cases of cataracts, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy that they diagnosed.
With servant’s hearts, some people donate their time, their energy and their special skills. For every one frustration, we have a dozen examples of people reaching out, lending a hand and making a difference. We all need to look for the GOOD in every day, and at LTHC, that shows up nearly everyday.

Alpha Kappa Psi donated a hefty pile of hand-knotted, heavy fleece blankets. Their timing was perfect as cooler weather rolls in.Heart and Sole hosted a Fall Boot Giveaway on October 21st. They let the guests try on multiple pairs of heavy, winter boots, picking the ones they liked best. The volunteers enjoyed conversation with the guests, gave them new socks, and even prayed with folks who asked. It was a beautiful and generous gift, filled with love.
