March 2026: LTHC Homeless Services is launching its social media-driven advocacy and fundraising campaign: Helping Families Come Home. This month-long initiative will combine compelling digital storytelling, impactful social media engagement, and peer-to-peer fundraising to drive donations and awareness around family homelessness in Lafayette and the surrounding communities. And it begins with you. A Commitment to Ensuring No Family is Left Without A Home

Every family deserves the security of a home. In Lafayette and surrounding communities, families experiencing homelessness face barriers that prevent them from accessing stable housing. Too often, these families – parents and children alike – are forced into unsafe, uncertain, and unsustainable situations due to systemic challenges, economic hardship, and a lack of available housing solutions.

With conviction and hope:

I pledge to stand with families experiencing homelessness, recognizing that safe and stable housing is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

I pledge to raise awareness of the realities unhoused families face, amplifying their stories, sharing facts, and educating my community on the urgent need for change.

I pledge to advocate for policies and programs that expand access to housing, improve service, and reduce the barriers preventing families from permanent homes.

I pledge to be part of the solution, whether through donating, volunteering, using my voice to drive action, or supporting local organizations working tirelessly to end family homelessness.

I pledge to reject indifference. No child should have to sleep in a car, a shelter, or a relative’s couch due to housing insecurity. As a community, we must ensure that “home” is not an unattainable dream, but a reality for every family.

By signing this pledge, I commit to standing alongside LTHC Homeless Services in their mission to bring hope, stability, and housing solutions to families in need. My name will be added to a growing list of individuals and organizations who believe in creating a gold standard of care for families experiencing homelessness – one rooted in dignity, support, and unwavering community commitment.
