Connection Point Church sent teams of teens to volunteer, and boy can those kids work! Starting on Monday, July 24th, they cleaned up our landscaping around our Engagement Center. They picked up garbage and cigarette butts, and one kid even found a Lego block! On Tuesday a new team arrived, and we put them to work cleaning inside…the kitchen, the common spaces, the shelter rooms, windows, doors, walls…it looks SO nice now. I wish the exact same group of helpers could come every month. These volunteers asked thoughtful questions and left with a better understanding that everyone can make a difference.
